First, ill start off by saying i absolutely love children. I am a mother of two, 5 and 6 years, and now that they are in school full time, im looking to further my career as a caretaker. I'm passionate about what i do, i believe in educational fun, outside play, arts and crafts, and reading, engaging their minds instead of sitting children in front of a TV all day. I think its crucial to build a relationship with each child, learn their likes, their dislikes, what they are passionate about to provide the best care for them, whether it be as simple as a favorite Disney movie or creating fun science experiments. I am patient, kind, warm and nurturing, but can be firm if needed. I believe parents set the rules, i simply follow them. I am here to provide the type pf care that you want for your Read more child(ren) to allow you to feel comfortable leaving them in my care. I am a devote christian, and if your family is as well i would love to embrace that in caring for your child(ren). I believe home should be a child's refuge, where they can have fun, relax and enjoy life, which is why i embrace having fun and engaging their imaginations! I will cook, clean, and care for any animals that you have if needed. I believe being a nanny is more than just babysitting, its about injecting yourself into the family, and becoming a trusted member of that family. I have several years experience taking care of children. For the past 3 years i have cared for an autistic little boy, helping to create and encourage a specialized care plan, educational and personal, to help him strive. He is now in school Full time and doing very well! I am CPR certified, and have taken classes in wound care/basic injuries.
