I have always had a strong love for little ones even as a child myself. I started babysitting my cousins children from ages infancy on up while she caught up on house work at the age of 10. I also began helping out at my church nursery around the age of 12. In addition I was hired as a nanny during the summers for family/friends when I was 15. After graduating it only seemed fit for me to go into early childhood education, so I began the ECE courses in the fall of 2015. In the spring of 2017 I will have covered all the ECE classes required for my early childhood degree although I still will need a few more prerequisites in order to graduate with my Associates degree which I will continue to take next fall. Throughout my college classes I have accomplished 45 hours of field work Read more in an infant classroom as well as 45 hours of field work in a preschool classroom. As of now I am just starting my 45 hours of field work in a home daycare and have also started my 45 hours of field work in an after school elementary program.
