I have many different experiences with children which is why I am a great fit for a nanny. I have a 4 year education degree in which I have spent 4 years in the classroom with both general education and special education students ranging from ages 8-18. I have also spent multiple days a week caring for my infant cousin when I am home from college. This gave me experience with infants and I have learned a lot about their development and safety. Additionally, I have worked for 3 summers as an aide for a child with disabilities in my local park district summer camp. This involved behavior management, ensuring the safety of all children, and keeping the joy of summer camp at the center of the child's experience. I have worked in the children's ministries at my church from nursery to the elementary Sunday School. I have always been involved with the children both in my family and in my church. I played softball growing up and in college and love being active and outdoors. I also have a minor in English Education and absolutely love reading! I will be Adult and Child CPR and First Aid certified before the end of this semester and will be available to start mid-December.
