I am currently a sophomore at a small liberal arts school in Indiana, Hanover College. At Hanover I am studying to be an elementary education major with a psychology minor. I have always loved kids, I started working with them when I was an assistant soccer coach with Michigan Rush for a U9 girls team! A year later I participated in Northville High School's cadet program where I helped teach in a 3rd grade classroom at Silver Springs elementary. In Northville, I work at the local ice cream shop, Custard Time for the past 3 years. Now in college, I only work during the summers, at night and weekends with a very flexible schedule, not interfering with a potential Nannying Job. Now attending Hanover college I am learning about student development and have been in two classes where I observed in the local elementary school, where a background check was Read more required beforehand. I am also in a school club entitled L.I.N.K which stands for Love Is Needed by Kids where myself and a partner are paired with two elementary children from the local area and hang out with them at least twice a month. This club is very similar to the big brother big sister program. I am also in the Greek community at Hanover College, I am in the Chi Omega sorority. I also hold an executive position of secretary which shows my dedication to the group, and that I am an extremely organized person, given the responsibility to be in charge of attendance at events and I am also in charge of organizing the largest philanthropy event we do each year which also shows my organization and responsibility skills. Overall, I am very passionate about children and helping them succeed in life! I would use all of my past experiences to provide the best care for my children I nanny and make sure they have an awesome summer!
