I began babysitting years ago as a teenager, for a family that I grew close to, and since then have had a passion for working with children. I have experience caring for a 5 year old child full time for two years, as he went through some tough issues with his family. I spent two years in college working toward a degree in K-12 special needs education, which included classes dealing with classroom management, and early educational development. Though my degree is now headed in a different direction, I still carry much of that training with me, and feel as though I would be a great candidate for a family looking for a caregiver for their children. I have more to offer than just "someone to watch the child" while parents are attending to other things.
