I have many years experience in child care. I have worked with children for most of my life starting as a babysitter as a child and teen then working at a daycare center in the infant/toddler room for 5+ years in my late teens and early 20"s. From there I took a job as a nanny for two boys in Novi ages 2 and 5. The 2 year old boy was a premature baby and had special needs. I took him to his therapy appointments and doctor visits regularly. I had two of my own children and when they were little I offered daily babysitting in my home for a few years. In 2008 I took a job at a Preschool/Daycare center In Dexter and worked there for 6 years until the center closed due to the owners retirement. I have many references dating back many years. In my preschool Read more position I took many classes in child development. I can provide the list of these classes on request. Along with certifications. I love children and teaching. I spent 5 years in college and have a degree in graphic design. I have my own mural business. I love to do arts and crafts with little ones and stay active. Some of my other interests include nutrition, health and fitness.
