I decided to become a caregiver after realizing a part time job would better serve my family's needs and after being laid off from my Human Resources position that I had for the last six years. As they say "one door may close, but always look for another to open". I hope to find a position with a great family that will help not only them but also bring in a little extra income for my own. My training includes helping to raise my 8 year old step daughter since she was three years old. I have the typical "mom duties" such as helping her with her picking her up from school, homework, attending her school activities, playing games, dolls, and any other fun things we can think up. I also like doing arts/crafts with her, when time permits. I am an active person who believes exercise is important as Read more well, so we try to get outside as much as possible. I don't have a current CPR certification, but am willing to get one if you find that to be important.
