I have grown up with a love for children. I began babysitting at the age of 11 and continued to care for many more families. I am currently studying special education and child development at Michigan State University with extensive experience in both areas. My teaching major is language arts and I am in the global educators cohort program which means all of my education courses have provided me with understanding, knowledge, and experience to educate in the most diverse environments. I have completed my early childhood student teaching in a 24-36 month classroom at MSU's child development laboratory. Throughout the student teaching, I planned and implemented meaningful lesson plans that were developmentally appropriate and supported each child's individual growth. This upcoming 2016-2017 school year I will finish up my undergraduate degrees and thereafter do a year of student teaching.
