I have had the privilege of being able to care for children on and off for 4 years. I started off working as a Babysitter for two years, then I transitioned with another family as a summer Nanny for two consecutive summers. Most recently I have worked as a substitute paraprofessional mainly working with children with Special Needs ranging from Autism, Aspergers, CI, EI, Down Syndrome, and I have been doing that for the last two years. I believe each child needs specialized care and direction. I have a background in the arts, so I believe that creativity can be incorporated into the lives of every child. I believe children are capable of great things if they are given the correct boundaries, teaching, and learning skills.
