I am finishing my degree in Music Education and have been certified to teach private lessons in the state of Michigan and Nevada. I love working with children and I have been teaching and caring for children since I was 16. What I love most about children is their inquisitive attitudes and tons of energy that make them a joy to be around. Working with kids for so many years, I have come to understand that children come into the world with a book in which each page is blank. I believe that children should be given the ability to become independent individuals by setting limits with positive discipline, praise, and encouragement. Being surrounded by children reminds me how important imagination, innocence, and creativity is even as we grow older. I am responsible and dependable, but also fun and energetic. I have both CPR and First Aid certifications. With me, your children will have fun, playing and learning rather than just sitting in front of a television set. I have experience and am comfortable with ages 3 or 4 to teens. I can read and write in French, Spanish, Arabic and speak a little Korean. I also teach violin, piano and voice private lessons to children and adults including children with severe ADHD and adults with tremors. I am a creative person who enjoys making arts and crafts as well as cooking healthy but fun foods. I love listening to music of all different genres, playing different instruments, watching movies, reading non-fiction books, dancing, traveling, swimming, and meeting people of all different cultures. Learning is a lifelong passion for me and childcare is one of the ways I get to continuously do so. I look forward to hearing from you and your wonderful children.
