Hi there, My name is Lisa, and I am 26 years-old. I have a master's degree in psychology, and I am certified in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) to treat children and adolescents with autism. I worked as a babysitter and nanny throughout my undergraduate education at Oakland University and during my first year of graduate school at Pepperdine in Irvine, California. I have experience as both a part- and full-time nanny with children ranging in age from newborn to 15 years-old. In addition to having 8 years of experience, a graduate degree in a closely related field, and a certification in Applied Behavioral Analysis, I am also infant and child CPR/First Aid certified. Furthermore, although I am not fluent in Spanish, I did a minor in Spanish Lit and studied abroad, so I am capable of reading and speaking basic Spanish with kids. I have experience working as an after Read more school nanny/tutor as well. I am comfortable with homework help, meal prep, transportation to and from activities, etc. Subjects I am most comfortable tutoring are Spanish, science (biology, chemistry, anatomy), algebra, and English. I am currently back in school at OU doing a second bachelor's in nursing. My classes are online this winter so my schedule is extremely flexible.
