I'm a 42 year old mother of 4 who delights in children and views them as blessings from God. I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Oakland University, with an emphasis on child development. Besides the years of experience with raising my own children, I have extensive experience with teaching all ages from infants to seniors in high school, which includes but is not limited to day care settings, private child care positions, church children's programs, and music instruction in both group and private settings (I teach flute and participate in a local community orchestra). I was also formally trained as a lifeguard and water safety instructor years ago, and still carry that knowledge with me. I like to be active with the kids, but I also delight in reading with them and teaching them new skills.
