I first started babysitting when I was 14 years old. In 2009, a babysitting position I had with a family (3 children ages 5, 7, and 10) turned into being a nanny. I would take them to and from school, keep up on laundry and do occasional grocery shopping. I was with this family for 1 year. In 2011 I worked with a family, two children ages 9 and 11. I took the kids to and from school, did some meal prep (mainly breakfast/lunch for the children) and made sure they made it to multiple appointments going on throughout the weeks (piano lessons, therapy sessions, soccer, etc...) I stayed with this family for 2 years. In 2013 I worked with a family with 2yo twins, I potty trained them, various learning exercises such as ABC’s, counting, matching, colors, etc... I also did weekly meal Preparation for the whole family, light Read more house cleaning and laundry. I was with them for 2 years. In 2015 I was an Assistant pre-school teacher at Childtime Daycare center. I worked with a group of 10-20, 3 and 4yos. I helped with lesson planning and teaching classes. I stayed at Childtime for 1 year before accepting another nanny position for a family with 3 boys ages 6months, 2 and 3. I did light house keeping and laundry. I also did lots of crafts and learning exercises with them. In 2016 Became part of a wonderful family with 4 children, ages 4months, 3, 9, and 10. I make sure the children get to and from school, and also other various appointments (doctors, therapists, etc...) I primarily take care of the youngest, we do different learning exercises and lots of crafts. I keep the main parts of the house clean, picking up on a daily basis. I do all their laundry, and will prepare meals a couple times of week either for the entire family, or just the kids. I have done occasional overnights for this family, the parents have had a lot going on and wanted a weekend away so I will step in. I have been with this family for 3 years and my position ends on June 16th, so I am seeking other employment. When I am hired into a family, I treat them as if they were my own family. I try to make day to day lives easier, because raising children is tough and it becomes easy to fall behind on chores. I am certified in CPR/first Aid. I am also very easy going and flexible with scheduling.
