My name is Gabrielle Baumgartner, I have 3 years of experience as a nanny working with a wonderful four year old. I have been watching over the little one since she were one years old. I In addition to one part-time nanny position, I have several years working as a part-time babysitter for a couple families during my high school days. This experience and the fact that I had three younger siblings, two brothers and a sister to care and cook for have helped me develop exceptional child caring skills. I love children and enjoy their company immensely and find nothing is more rewarding than taking care of them. I believe in creating a positive, happy environment for children, one in which they feel protected and can thrive. I have good organizational and communication skills, which I believe are among the most important skills for a nanny. I work well Read more with other people, thanks to my friendly and caring nature, and am sure I will fit right in with the household atmosphere.

Gabi worked for us for quite some time this year. She called off last minute often, was late often, and did not fulfill her household responsibilities. I kept her on longer than I should have because my youngest daughter liked her. After a series of screw-ups, I finally started looking for a new babysitter when she unintentionally caused a flood in my house (flooding occurred all day without her noticing) and disrespected me after I spoke to her about her responsibilities. When I dared to talk to her about improving her performance because she was late again, she got an attitude and said that she didn't need this job anyway because she has 3 other jobs. I wonder why she is looking for another job then? Please be aware that she feels very entitled in general, wants a lot of money for minimal work, prioritizes her many other jobs over yours, and is very immature and unreliable. Hopefully, she learned valuable lessons with us so she will be a better babysitter for another family.
