I am currently a stay at home mom and photographer with a part time nanny position with children who are 2 1/2 and 1. I ended my longest nanny position with the start of school. The kids are now 8, 13 and 17 years old. I was with them for nearly 6 1/2 years. Prior to that I was a lead preschool teacher with 20 children, ages 3 and 4. I was a nanny for nearly two years, children were 3 1/2 and 5 1/2 when I left. Prior to that, I was a lead toddler teacher for two years. In my room, we cared for 14 children, ages 16 to 24 months. I worked at a before and after school program in a school for nearly a year, where ages ranged from 4 to 12 years. I worked at the YMCA for 2 1/2 years in child care positions Read more as well as being a swim instructor. While there, I worked with babies from 6 weeks up to 13-year-olds in my swim classes. I have helped families with babysitting as well. Overall, I have 15-16 years of childcare experience. I have a BS in Psychology, with an emphasis on child psych. I love being a nanny. I love the close bond that is able to develop since my attention isn't divided between several children. I am much more involved in the children's lives and feel great accomplishment when they achieve their goals. I am very dedicated in all I do, and putting all my effort into one family's well-being is very rewarding. (I have a son who I will need to bring to work with me, born 2/ 2013).
