My name is Rachel and I am a graduate of University of Wisconsin Superior majoring in Elementary Education and minoring in Early Childhood. I was 10 when I first started babysitting for my neighbors on a regular basis. I have been babysitting them for the past nine years now. The summer of 2010, I was a nanny for three boys ages one, four, and six. My duties included making meals, planning activities, helping with workbooks, changing diapers, and doing dishes. The winter of 2011, I was a nanny for twin 4-year-old girls. My duties included washing dishes, doing laundry, making meals, and playing with the children. Last summer of 2012, I worked at a daycare. My duties included working with children ages infant to school-age. I was an aide to the teachers and helped with whatever needed to be done whether it be changing diapers, playing with children, giving out Read more meals, or cleaning and vacuuming. I have also been a Sunday school teacher for about five years and I currently volunteer for a program that helps girls ages seven to nine with their homework and learn about different cultures. Last spring I volunteered at a daycare in a homeless shelter where I rocked babies to sleep and played games with the older children. For eight months I worked as a sub at a daycare and I loved it! Spring of 2015 I was Intern Kindergarten teacher. After I graduated I became a substitute teacher. I have had two long-term sub jobs as a second grade teacher and fifth grade teacher.
