Hi, my name is Brooke. I am 24 years old, newly married, and new to the iron range. I have been working with children since I was around 11 years old. That is when my parents started foster care. Being the oldest in the family, I helped out a lot with caring for the kids. The ages of the children we cared for during that time ranged from newborns to 5-year-olds. Around that time I also started babysitting children in my neighborhood. We ended up adopting 3 of the children we recieved through foster care. Each of them with their own issues physically, emotionally, and mentally. I love each of those kids as if they were my own blood. Before moving to Minnesota I worked in Montana for the school district as a bus aide for children with special needs. I loved that job!
