Hi! My name is Heather and I live in Lakeville. I'm married and we have a 3.5 year-old son and a 5 year-old Yorkie/Shih-tzu mix. I have a BA from Saint Mary's University in Human Services with some post grad work in Elementary Education. I have 5+ years as an infant teacher in an early childhood center in Minneapolis and 5+ years as a school age child care director and counselor at the Southdale YMCA. For the past 3 years, I had been working part time at an early childhood learning center and would bring my son with me and loved it! However, due to the centers growth, they could no longer employ part time employees. I am currently at home with my son but looking to help some families of children and/or pets out part time. I love children and love dogs! My son and my dog love kids Read more and dogs too. :) I am open to any ages of children but only 1 to 2. We love all dogs, as long as they get along with other dogs and kids. If you have a child around my son's age that would be perfect! I have lots of curriculum and activities that would be fun for the kids to do together. I am open to having your child or pet come to our house or we can come to yours.
