My name is Becky and I am interested in applying to provide childcare for your family. I currently live in Lakeville while attending graduate school at St. Katherine's to pursue a degree in Occupational Therapy. I have been babysitting for children of various ages for the last ~10 years and I have been volunteering in my church s nursery and childcare (children ages 6 months to 6 years) and worked for a summer as the Children s Ministries Intern. Additionally, right before and during college I spent two full summers as a nanny. During the first summer, I was the sole nanny for two late elementary-aged children. During the second summer, I worked as the sole nanny for a family of 7 children ages 5-14. This family had recently gone through divorce and remarriage so I split my time between three locations. In both positions, my responsibilities included food planning/preparation, Read more light housekeeping, transportation, activity organization, pet management, and general supervision. This past summer I was the sole nanny for 4 children, ages 5-10, in the Madison area. My responsibilities were similar to my past nanny positions, but I was also in charge of more significant activity planning/coordination and purposeful academic time each day. I have also worked as a camp counselor for individuals with disabilities for two summers. I am totally comfortable with water activities and the attention needed to ensure safety. Additionally, I love anything outdoors, enjoy playing sports, am comfortable with pets, and believe that electronics are not needed to have a fun! Additionally, I am CPR/First aid certified and do not smoke. I have a reliable car, a clean driving record.
