During high school I baby sat for several different families and have watched children 2-12 years of age. After high school I began work as a nursing assistant and have been employed for 2 years with Sanford Health in Fargo, ND. I recently moved to Minneapolis in August of 2013 to pursue a bachelors degree at the University of Minnesota. Although I have not had much experience since high school watching children I am more than qualified. Working as a nursing assistant I have been trained to care for and manage people with varying ailments. Being a nursing assistant has taught me patience, empathy, to treat my patients and clients as I would my own family, how to handle situations under pressure, medical knowledge and so much more. I also will make an excellent nanny because I am a fun, energetic, responsible young adult who would be a great role model for children. I enjoy spending my free time being very active participating in yoga classes, running, reading, volunteering in my community, playing volleyball and cooking.
