My name is Tina Monje, and I am a 23-year-old student at Augsburg College. I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, and have lived in the Twin Cities now for three and a half years. I love it here - especially the summers! My experience began at a young age - my younger brother was born when I was 7 years old, and I loved taking care of/babysitting him. I began babysitting formally when I was 12 for some of the families in the neighborhood. My network began to expand, and I started to connect with other children of families around town during school or sports events. I have extensive babysitting experience, and I have about five years of experience as a nanny for one family (of four children). I have experience with all age ranges. I have cared for newborns and infants (including an infant with a chronic Read more heart condition), and have cared for children through the age of 18. I am most comfortable, however, with any age above three years. I love to engage with children, and find many lessons to be learned from them. I am a responsible individual, have high standards of cleanliness, health and wellness. I love to (and know how to) cook, and can manage multiple projects at once.
