A little about me, I come from a family of five with two brothers from a small town in Minnesota. I attended and graduated high school to move onto college where I majored in American Sign Language and Communications. While attending college I was a nanny for several different families from full time to part time. I also tutored and volunteered my service to families and child care centers in need. I would say this is where I found my love for children. After nannying for five years I started as a full time lead teacher for a PreK school in Eagan, MN. Where I cared for and taught children everyday tasks and mannerisms. After providing my services and surviving the cold winters of MN I decided to relocate to Windermere, FL. I think listening can be a key factor in everyday situations and I find it to be something that can take many challenges away. I enjoy being outdoors exploring, energetic and adventures. I find that I am able to work with families of all needs and considerations. I will always be engaged in the child or children while keeping their best interests at heart. Miranda has been nannying part time for us for about a year now. She has been wonderful with our 2 year olds. She really cares for them and she has children's best interests at heart. She plans activities for our children every day and they rarely watch tv. She gets them outside as much as the weather permits, takes them to the park, does crafts with them when stuck inside and is cognizant of the way our household works. She feels like a part of our family. She's creative, flexible and reliable. I never worry about my children when I walk out the door to go to work. She's conscientious about providing healthy meals for our children. She has a genuine love for children. Anyone who has Miranda as a nanny is very lucky.
