Hello! My name is Kat and I just finished my junior year at Hamline University. My experience with children has varied throughout the years. I have been baby sitting children since I was 13 and since fell in love with being around kids. I have nannied children from a couple months old to young teenage years. I have cared for up to 6 children at a time. I spent a year teaching children with learning disabilities. I went through extensive training on how to interact with children who had various disabilities. I nannied 6 children for a summer all of which had some disability whether it be fetal alcohol syndrome, autism, ADD, ADHD and so forth. I have also nannied for two young boys for a couple years and had a blast. I have a tremendous amounts of patients and take pride in how I communicate with children in different Read more stages of their lives. I also believe strongly in being active and outside with children as much as possible. I strongly emphasize limiting "screen time" for quality time playing outside together. I enjoy working and playing with children and hope that I get an opportunity to work with your family this summer! :) -Kat
