I started out at a nanny and a tutor in high school; I changed career ideas many times but I went to college for social work and psychology, cosmetology and for yoga teacher training. I have been working in behavioral grouphomes for adults with disabilities as a team lead for the past four years and also worked at a LifeSpa doing hair and nails at the same time. I love taking care of people and I love being social, I am just looking to change routes and take care of children now since I have been taking care of adults for so long; I also would like to have the extra time on nights and weekends to spend more time with my fiancé and start teaching yoga. Group home work is very demanding and 24/7 care so I’m looking for a more regular full time job rather than overnights and Read more weekends. I am CPR and first aid certified and I have always had four residents in my care at a time; I’m very good at multitasking, coming up with things to do and I am very active, I love to keep moving!
