My name is Cecily Amrane. I am a 30-year-old graduate of Georgetown University. I have worked with children since I was in college. I speak Spanish and French at a basic to conversational level and write at a basic level in both languages. Children are bright and loving and they make my day shine. I love working with children, teaching them, and caring for them. I was a nanny for a kind and beautiful baby for a year and a half. He at the age of two says full sentences, absorbs what he learns and has a great memory. The children I babysit for are so happy to be around me because they know I love them, they know they are safe, and most importantly they know they will enjoy the activities and art and plays that we perform for the day. During my four years at Georgetown University I have tutored, babysat, and taught English for students in Mexico. During my stay in Mexico I was responsible for more than 20 children at a time in a class room. I have experience in child care in Minnesota, DC, and New York. I was in the Education Magnet at Edison High School in Minneapolis. In the program we attended classes that trained us to be teachers and I also attended basic classes.
