My name is Toree and I’ve had a passion for childcare for as long as I can remember! Growing up my family ran an In-Home Childcare, and during high school I worked in a Montessori School with Infants and Toddlers. Following high school I have exclusively worked in childcare (8 years), I have worked as a Nanny for 2 family’s; one with twin toddlers and the other was a family of 5 children between the ages of 10 and 1. I have worked in Montessori and Primrose Schools and have extensive knowledge in many child development philosophies- with which I feel very confident to combine the best pieces of each to provide a fun and educational routine for all ages. I have experience as an assistant teacher in a kindergarten classroom as well as 4 years of teaching preschool. I have currently been working as a teacher at a Primrose Read more School for a year and a half and most recently have taken over the roll of the Chef at the school. I have a passion for cooking and love to make child friendly and healthy meals! Unfortunately, I am missing spending time working with the children so I am looking for something new! I am First Aid and CPR certified as well as formerly being an EMT. In my free time I love to spend it doing anything outside! I love exploring new and beautiful places, spending as much time in nature as I can. I’m a huge animal lover and frequent Como Park often! I have been keeping very up to date on all CDC guidelines regarding the current Covid-19 Pandemic and alway practice safe social distancing. However your family is choosing to adapt to the current situation, I will follow suit and support you in teaching your child(ten) by example and encouragement. If School-Age children are a part of your family I am very adaptable and will assist in Distance Learning and/or however the school districts will decide to proceed with the next school year. I would love the opportunity to get to know your family and to help your children thrive to the best of their abilities!
