Qualifications/Experience: I am currently in my second year of studying education at Bethel University. Several of my classes are devoted to the study of working with children that I believe will give me valuable experience as a caregiver. This past January I did a field experience in a middle school classroom everyday for several hours. I have regularly babysat for three different families. One had four daughters, one had three daughters and one had 2 daughters and one son. I very much enjoyed my time with them. I have experience in creating games and activities, cooking, cleaning, and handling pets. Several times I drove places for activities or lessons. I regularly work in my church's child program caring for children birth to 4 years old. I helped with lessons, games, and maintaining an orderly classroom. I believe that working as a nanny will give me valuable experience for my future career as a teacher, while at the same time my focus on education will equip me to be a better nanny. I enjoy children and like the challenge of coming up with new activities and games. My goal is to be active and to keep the kids engaged in positive entertainment inside and outside.
