The first time I started working with children outside my family, as about 4 years back. I started babysitting for the Mead Family, before working with I swore to myself I didn't like children and that I would never be a teacher. After connecting with their two wonderful daughters, they inspired me and opened my eyes to a path I didn't even know was there. That following year I began working as a teachers aide at Bright Water Montessori. I was mainly working with the Prek and Kg classes, however I was often asked to help in the toddler room as well. That year started off quite challenging, but by the end I was in love with youth work. I they taught me many things from random facts to things about my own inner passions. After Bright water I began working with this summer literacy program called CDF-Freedom School. Freedom Read more School was the first place that allowed me to us my passion for the arts such as dance in a learning environment. My experience with them lead me to my goals of creating my own youth program. As a dancer I am easily moved, as a student I can learn from anyone no matter age, As a teacher I am passionate about watching the young minds grow.
