I am freshman at Cornell University where I study Human, Biology, Health and Society and I am pre-med. I play club soccer, volunteer as a tutor at the local jail, participate in the cardiology interest group and the pre-medical career group at Cornell. I played varsity soccer and lacrosse throughout my high school career, volunteered at the Animal Humane Society and I was a member of the Community Action and Service Group for four years, serving as Treasurer my senior year. As a member I provided volunteer services at various organizations throughout the Twin Cities. I was a student mentor to incoming freshman to help students transition to high school. I have 6 years of baby sitting experience for children ages 9 months to 10 years. I was a nanny for an 8 year old boy and 12 year old girl last throughout last summer. As a babysitter/nanny my favorite Read more activities are playing all types of games, reading stories, coloring, and preparing snacks and dinner. Other jobs I have held during summers have included housekeeping, laundry, gardening, and assisting with party preparations. I am currently Red Cross certified in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED and will be gaining my EMT certification this summer.
