Growing up my step mother was a day care provider, given this, I have been around children for as long as I can remember. Families who attended her day care would often ask me to babysit on the weekends/evening, this gave me great experience and my love for children. Along with that, I have four younger siblings, who are all over five years younger than me in age. Since my siblings and I have such an age gap, I was able to babysit them from a very young age. I started watching them when I was about 11 years old and I still watch them today. This was also great experience and gave me the opportunity to watch kids of multiple age groups and learn age specific behaviors. I am also CPR and first aid certified and have training in nurse assisting. I am now currently a student at the Read more university of St. Thomas studying psychology.
