I grew up in a daycare center and began helping out with games and diaper changes of some of the infants once I was late elementary/middle school age. I volunteered in my church nursery when it was needed throughout high school, as well as regularly babysat my youth director's 2 year old son. I worked at Good Earth Village, a youth summer camp, this past summer as a counselor. My primary age groups were 3-5th grade and kindergarten, and I worked a total of 8 weeks. That employment gave me basic first aid and CPR training for all ages. I love working with children and am sad that I am not able to return to camp this summer for family reasons.
