Hi! My name is Kenzie and I am a second-year graduate student studying Speech Language Pathology. I have lived in Duluth for the past 6 years and studied at the University of Minnesota Duluth. I grew up in the twin cities and I will be starting a full-time internship coming Spring 2019 in the area. Prior to moving away for college, I held several babysitting jobs and was a nanny for a family of two boys for 5 years. While living in Duluth, I worked as a ballet instructor teaching boys and girls ranging from 2-18 years. I also worked at a foster care group home for kids and cared for children between the ages of 6-19 as a 24-hour care staff. With my two jobs and several clinical experiences through school, I have worked with many children with disabilities including ADHD, autism, cerebral palsy, fetal alcohol syndrome, selective mutism, Read more deaf and hard of hearing, and selective mutism. Throughout high school and college, I taught Sunday School at my church to 3, 4, and 5 years old’s. I am comfortable with behavior management, administrating medications, working on school work, driving, cooking, and household cleaning. I have found that my passion is with kids and I would be honored to work with yours!
