Hi! I am a student athlete (swimming) at South Dakota State University and will be a junior in the fall 2015, pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I am certified in CPR-AED, as well as lifeguard certified. I have been babysitting since the age of 13 outside of my home for neighbors and family friends. I have experience with children from infant to early teens. I was a summer volunteer assistant camp counselor for a YMCA camp when I was 13. I assisted my Pre-School Montessori in the class, and on summer field trips when I was 14. I also have been life guarding and teaching swim lessons since I was 15. During high school I was a Special Olympics assistant coach for basketball, and softball for 3 years. I am well-prepared and organized as a nanny. I am able to handle several children at once, or just 1 or Read more 2. I have my own vehicle, a clean driving record, and have been driving since age 16. I love all sorts of outdoor activities, reading and creating crafts on rainy days. I always try to be outside for a little bit every day. I love introducing children to new things, building their confidence and imagination, and encourage learning through fun activities, games, exploration and adventures. I don’t mind cooking or meal planning, and/or doing a few domestic chores. I enjoy all sorts of pets and I have no allergies or medical concerns.
