My first priority is keeping your family safe and happy. As a 15 + year nursing assistant, registered with the State of Minnesota, I am trained to respond to medical emergencies. Knowing what to do allows me to make your loved one feel safe. That’s key to being a calming factor in any situation. Then the fun can begin. What I love most about care giving is becoming part of another’s world. As each person is unique, so is our experience together. That makes for something new every day. How many jobs can you say that about? I understand children of all ages, having been one! With imagination, we can be engaged for hours on what’s at hand. No need for TV here. Even a “clean up” game can be fun. If we can do that, most anything else is a breeze. I’m a mature woman, 57, raising 3, now Read more college-age kids, of my own. (My son and twin daughters were born 14 months apart so I know multi-tasking.) You could consider me the Aunty, as I’m not quite yet a Granny. I have a work ethic a mile wide, am extremely dedicated and trustworthy, evidenced by 30+ years of work experience. While I can appreciate some preferring students of childcare education, I have always stayed current with new ideas and trends so I can provide the very best care. I find AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics), CPSC (Consumer Products Safety Commission) and my local ECFE (Early Childhood Family Education) are some of my best resources. I am flexible and always interested. You can judge for yourself by the response from your loved one(s). I know you will be pleased. Let’s start with a chat, perhaps. Contact me for a resume and references for your use.
