Hello there! My name is Emma and I am super passionate and absolutely love working with kids. I am going to college for visual art education, and hope to be working with children for the rest of my life. I became a nanny/babysitter because there is never a dull day when you are with children. They always keep you on your feet, and its so rewarding to watch them grow and learn, even if it is for a short amount of time. My past experiences of working with kids includes 4+ summers of working in my cities parks and recreation program. That includes teaching children sports like soccer and tee ball, leading day camps, going on field trips and even working with preschoolers. That has given me lots of experience working with all sorts of kids and parents, as well as now I have a few tricks up my sleeve Read more for fun games and crafts. My other jobs has been a few regular babysitting gigs too, which have also been such a wonderful time. I will make a good nanny because I like to engage and play with the kids that I work with, along with taking care of them. I will most definitely go out and play house or blocks or any crazy games your kids will come up with. I'm good at following directions and a schedule, as well as can think on my feet if any kind of situation should arise. Safety is one of my biggest concerns. I want to make sure the kids I take care of are out and having fun. I am a big fan of going outside and being active, and am willing to limit TV or video games. I am CPR certified, and have basic training in first aid. I know how to take care of cuts, bumps and bug bites. I am also concussion certified, meaning that I had to go through training on the signs and symptoms of concussions, as well as learning how to prevent them in a sports related setting. Both of these were required for my previous job. Well that is a little bit about me, feel free to contact me if interested so we can figure something out! Families must be willing to work with my parks and recreation schedule during the summer months. I am NOT available before 1:00PM on Tuesdays through Fridays staring June 12th
