As a family studies major, I have had specific training in family systems thinking, which recognizes the interrelationship between family members and the environment. I graduated from Southeast MO State with a Family Study Degree, therefore I have had several child development classes and know how to fully communicate with the children and the parents. I'm also a single parent to a 17 yr old. She has ADD and had to adapt to her lifestyle to ensure she has a successful life. I also have done several babysitting jobs and was a housekeeper for several years while in college. I can cook,clean and run errands. I also go to church and have good values and morals. I also believe children need nature and activities than the internet and games to enhance their life. Nowdays it seems like material things and less family time have become emheshed into our lives and Read more we forget our values and morals and taking everything for granted. We need to slow down and enjoy every moment. My experience includes work as an assistant teacher, working with special needs and the elderly, counseling, resourcing and researching for clients, customer service and relations. In these varied roles I have developed excellent communication skills, good organizational and problem abilities. I also did several presentations to help with cognitive learning and life skills. I am trained to provide a benefitting and learning environment so the child can excel and grow in all avenues of learning, I can demonstrate self-help skills and discover the strengths in children and families of all diversities.
