Hi there! My name is Brittany and I am a 24 year old student at the University of Missouri pursing a degree in Health Sciences with a double minor in Psychology and Sociology. I am currently seeking a full time position as a nanny or babysitter and am looking to start ASAP! I have been babysitting and nannying for over 6 years now and have a wide age-range of experience from newborns all the way to age 12. During high school, I worked as a Summer Day Camp Counselor that allowed me to lead camps grouped by age at different times (for example 1st-2nd graders in one camp/at one time and 3rd-4th graders in a separate camp/at a different time.) Being a counselor allowed me to gain knowledge and understanding of the different age groups, their needs/wants, as well as what activities/snacks/crafts worked best for one group when compared to Read more the other age groups. I am both First Aid and CPR certified and have also recieved proper training on the use of a Blood Glucose Meter. I am a very energetic, creative, safety-minded babysitter and nanny that always strives to incorporate learning into the activities, crafts, and games I participate in with the children. Just like those my mother taught me years ago, I too try to teach important morals and values to have as a person and think it is key to start at a young age.
