I am a 27 yr old female living in St. Louis, MO. I have 10+ years of experience working with children of all ages. I attended Xavier University of Louisiana and graduated with a Bachelors in Medical Sociology and minor in African American Diaspora Studies. Having this degree allows me to asses social situations and disparities with a open mind and circular view. I know all people are unique and strong in various areas & where we are weak there is the possibility of growth and positive change. I grew up with a Special Education Teacher, my mother. Who occasionally took me to work with her as a teachers aid while I attended private school at Lutheran High School North. During this time I became a mentor to some of the students and babysat my teachers, family and friends kids when needed (mostly for weekly & weekend date nights). As Read more I got older I have gained more experience with children with Autism (I have a brother who has Asperger) and family members with physical handicaps as well as overnight care. I love babysitting because as of current I have no children and babysitting is good practice for me. I love being around small kids and seeing them get excited about exploring the world around them. I enjoy teaching older kids about my experiences as a young adult and giving them advice and guidance so that they feel heard and respected. I especially enjoy reading and tutoring children of all ages. I like to stay active too, by taking kids outside, cooking with them, helping them straighten up or playing laser tag around the house. If you hire me as a babysitter your child/children will have fun, learn and above all be safe. I am easy to communicate with and my only request is that you be honest with me and open about any request, concerns or criticisms you may have.
