Hello. My name is Elizabeth N. Patton. (I go by Nikki, though!) I have always loved helping others, especially children. I have eight children myself. (That's right, EIGHT!!) Four of them are my kids, and four are my step children. (But I love them all!) My four step kids live in Columbia with their mom. I have been a caregiver for an elderly woman with Alzheimer's for the past year, but unfortunately her deteriorating health caused her to be placed in a skilled nursing facility. Before this, I was a child care provider in my own home, caring for kids from newborn to three years old. I did this for about six years. Also, I was a substitute teacher for preschool and high school students. So, I have a lot of experience with kids! I have an Associate's degree in Medical Assisting, and have been certified in CPR, First Aid, Read more and AED. I am planning on becoming re-certified at the earliest opportunity. I am married, and live in Independence. I am willing to travel some, but prefer to stick to areas close to Independence. Unfortunately, I am unavailable on the weekends, but am willing to work with the right family on whatever type of schedule is needed. I prefer providing care for your child in your home, as my home is too small to accommodate proper child care. If you have any questions at all, please don't be shy! Ask away!!
