Hi there! I would first like to say thank you for taking time to read through my profile. Here's a little about myself: I am a 22 year old mom. I have 3 little men running around my house, an infant, toddler and a big kid! My boys are my entire world and I would do anything for them. I am looking to better our lives and find a job where I would be able to spend more time at home. I had my first kiddo when I was a senior in high school. I finished high school and was driven to find a job. I ended up applying for a non-profit organization taking care of adults with disabilities. I absolutely love caring for people. I've worked with a variety of disabilities and have proved my patience time and time again. In the 4 years that I had worked with Read more this company, I had been promoted twice. I absolutely love what I do! I would love to be able to find a cargiving job where I would be able to work with children with disabilities. Onto my childcare background. I have been babysitting and nannying for many years. I started babysitting when I was 10 years old and was a nanny over summers starting when I was 13 years old. I also have 2 younger brothers that I've looked after. My mother has a preschool in her home that started in 2009 and I assisted her with the kiddos from then on. I am comfortable with all ages (and attitudes ;) ). I am a big believer in positive reinforcement and am equipped with the skills to deal with many diverse situations. I also practice a study, with my own kiddos, called conscious discipline. With this, children are guided to understanding their feelings and why they are doing what they are doing versus feeling like they are in "trouble." If you have any questions/comments please let me know! I look forward to hearing from you!
