I have a daughter with Autism and have worked with kids and adults in direct care with physical and mental disabilities for over 12 years. Before I started my own family, I was a nanny for newborn twins for 2 years, untill the family moved to CA. Now that my kidos are more independent I would like to get back being a nanny. I am certified in First Aid and CPR. I feel that childern should learn and grow in a kind and happy, yet structured environment. BUT... Nothing wrong with counting Hot Wheels on the living room floor, or learning the colors as we put them to use making fridge art for Mom! I have no problems with parents keeping tabs or popping in for a spot check (I would if I were you). I can keep Read more a daily log as well. I understand wanting to know what went on when you were at work. I can cook and do light house work as well as Dr. Appt. or shopping. All of witch were part of my job for over 4 years at The Arc of the Ozarks. Lsat, all of the jobs I have had, I have left on good terms and would have no trouble using them as a reference.
