I babysat for numerous families throughout high school and also leading into my freshman and sophomore years of college. This past summer, I took a job as a summer specialist at The Boys and Girls Club in Council Bluffs, Iowa. My responsibilities included planning and implementing a summer program for the 2nd and 3rd grade group. Each day my partner and I were in charge of 30+ children. It was an amazing experience and although it was crazy at times I absolutely loved it and truly enjoyed being around the kids everyday! They help remind you what is really important in life, not to mention they are a riot! :-) I am currently a student-athlete at Lindenwood University. I play on the basketball team and I am looking for a summer job because I am staying in the area to train with my teammates!
