I have experience babysitting, nannying, and caring for children. In the summer of 2008, I was a full-time nanny for two girls, ages 4 and 6. As nanny, I maintained a routine schedule that included walks and outdoor activities, healthy snacks and meals, and a review of educational materials to prepare the children for school session in the fall. I am comfortable working with families of diverse backgrounds. I speak Spanish and have taught internationally. I have a certification in Teaching English as a Second Language. I am well traveled and have strong interpersonal strengths. My hope is to work with parents to create an environment in which their children can be themselves, feel loved and cared for, and are able to learn and grow.
