Even at a young age, I have always been surrounded by childcare. Growing up with my stepmothers home daycare center, I constantly was surrounded by atmosphere of craft time, puppet shows, dance parties and more! I love it! When I became older I cared for my cousins, where I helped them get to and from school, helped with homework, fixing dinners and during the summer took fun field trips. This eventually led me to apply at a daycare center, where i planned lessons, prepared lunches and organized games for outside time so everyone felt included. In college I decided to explore the world of music, where I studied privately for four years. Music therapy became my main focus, where I learned that music is a vital instrument I learning about the world and yourself. This is where I organized musical classes with my instructor and began teaching classes in daycare Read more centers throughout the Saint Louis area. Caring for children has been a major part of my life. My hopeful out look on life has lead me to learn new ways to care and teach, and I hope this will continue to lead me to new and exciting things!
