I have been working with and around children for the past eight years of my life. Before I attended college my main job was childcare in many different forms such as family, friends, and others met through sites such as this. Once I began college my first full time job was being a nanny for a 1 1/2-year-old girl and a part time sitter for a family with two boys and one girl, the eldest boy had autism. I worked and still occasionally work for both of these families. Since those jobs I worked as a site leader for the YMCA after school program for 1 1/2 years. I was responsible fro children K-8th grade. I have also since attained my degree in Middle School Education with a concentration in English. I have taught summer school full time for one summer, been a paraprofessional in the public school system in Read more Ozark Missouri, and taught for one year as a Middle School English teacher in Dry Ridge Kentucky.
