I have babysat kids since I was about 15 years old, started out when my little brother was born at that time and I loved helping my mom with him. Once he was a couple months old I would be allowed to watch him by myself while she ran to the store things like that, the older he got I no longer kept him. I started watching other people's kids when I was about 16; cousins, family friends' kids, and things like that. I did that all the time when I had the chance all through high school while having a part time job. When I graduated high school I started working at Country Kids Daycare--family-owned by my aunt. The best job I've ever had. At that job I was in charge of lesson planning for kids, meal planning for there lunches, taking kids and picking them up from school. Read more through out the day I would have tasks such as cleaning and disinfecting, changing diapers, changing clothes and putting kids down for nap time, and making bottles for the babies. After nap time everyone would wake up eat snack and then I would take them outside to play on the playground where I observed and made sure the rules were followed and everyone was having fun! I have taken care of my share of cranky kids and sick kids, nothing scares me! I am comfortable with pets, as I have been raised with pets and know how to take care of them as well. I'm comfortable with most house hold chores such as cleaning, dishes, cooking, laundry, etc. I'm a very trustworthy, responsible, outgoing, and energetic person that loves kids! In college I went for a semester at Mineral area college where I studied early childhood development. As well I took classes while working at Country Kids Daycare that were teaching meal planning and lesson planning ideas, how to clean and sanitize the environment. I love kids and love having fun with them!
