I have experience in babysitting two of my family members. Their current ages are five and seven. The five year old boy is very energetic and active, but I have no trouble keeping up with him because I am an active person myself. The seven year old is more laid back, so I am able to talk with her more in depth and play games that require patience. I helped babysit the same family members about twice a week when they were infants, but I had help from two other family members. However, I do feel confident now caring for a child under one year old. I am CPR and First Aid certified for adults, children, and infants. I know the proper technique and treatment needed to treat all three of these age groups, for they are dramatically different. I intend to begin nursing school within the next one to Read more two years, so gaining experience with children is important. I love children, so this is the perfect job for me. My ideal job would include being nurse who works with mothers and infants on a labor and delivery floor. The position I am seeking is a summer babysitting job. I will be in school until April 27, 2018. I am looking to start right after I finish this semester and end before I begin school again in the fall. I hope you consider me for this position!
