I have a bachelors degree in early childhood education. I am currently working on my masters in secondary education. I am a wife and mother of three sweet girls. My youngest daughter is 2 years old. She stays home with me. I am looking for away to supplement our income while practicing my skill set and continuing to stay home with my daughter. I have created a discovery driven, structured, nurturing, and playful learning environment in our home. Our days include a circle time in which we discuss the calendar, the weather and sing a few songs. We engage in teacher guided play and child guided play. I introduce a new concept on a weekly to biweekly basis that coincide with my four year old daughters pre-k class. (i.e. the farm, the ocean, the five senses.) We go on weekly outings to the library, Excel by Five, and the splash Read more pad. I will never have more than four children in my care at a time. This means I will be able to work with your child one on one to help them prepare for pre-k and kindergarten. However, they will still have an opportunity for social development in our small group. I can give references of teachers I have student taught under as well as other parents whose children I have watched.
