After receiving my B.A. in 2016, I started working at a small private school in Jacksonville, Florida. After two years with that school, I decided to make the move to Brooklyn, NY. In my last position, I was a teaching assistant in a one year old classroom. In the afternoons I transitioned to the pre-k classroom with four year olds. Some days I also worked with the K-6 extended day program. I babysit several nights per week for multiple families with children ages two to thirteen.
