I am a wife to my husband of 27 years and mother to four grown children and three grandchildren. I am the 7th of nine children and have enjoyed caring for children my entire life. My early years were spent with my stay at home mom and self employed father. I took babysitting certificate courses through the local hospital as a preteen and continued through high school caring for children in my neighborhood. Upon graduation I went into the health industry working as a physical therapy tech and an in home habilitation aide for families with disabled children. Soon after I married and began nannying which turned into a twenty year career running my own childcare business; during which time I pursued my associates degree in child development and then acquired my bachelors degree in Early Childhood education. I am currently the director of Early Ed programming for a faith Read more based organization. I work a non traditional work week and am looking to provide occasional overnight or random days of care.
